FIFTEEN YEARS AGO THIS WEEK, the fine folks at Simon & Schuster saw fit to publish my gore-and-gross-joke-filled Beatles/zombie mashup novel Paul Is Undead: The British Zombie Invasion.
I know, it still freaks me out, too.
Much to their credit, S&S gave it it a ton of promotional and marketing love, and it earned a starred review in Publishers Weekly (one of the proudest moments of my writing career), and it hit the Amazon bestseller list, and Paul McCartney knows it exists. (The McCartney deal is a whole to-do. We can talk about that later.)
The book will always hold a special place in my heart, so I wanted to share some PIU ephemera for your viewing enjoyment. I hope it all makes you chuckle, or scream, or listen to Rubber Soul while watching Night of the Living Dead.
