No Sports Stuff, Just a Beatles Zombie Book Giveaway
Wanna win a copy of my bestselling novel? All you need is love. And the time to choose your three fave Fab Four songs.
It was 14 years ago today, Sgt. Pepper taught the band to, er, sorry, I mean it was 14 years ago today that the fine folks at Simon & Schuster saw fit to release my novel Paul Is Undead: The British Zombie Invasion.
As you might surmise from the title, it's a retelling of the Beatles' story, the only noticeable difference being that John Lennon, Paul McCartney, and George Harrison are zombies, while Ringo Starr is a ninja.
I know, hard to believe it's not being taught in universities.
But seriously, folks, PIU is among my proudest professional achievements. It garnered a starred review in Publishers Weekly, it was an Amazon bestseller, it sold over 20,000 copies, and, believe it or not, it's still in print.
To celebrate, I'm giving away three signed copies of the book. If you want to get into the contest, email ChicagoSportsStuff@gmail.com with your three favorite Beatles songs. Winners will be chosen at random. Entries are due 6/20, winners will be announced 6/21.
Good luck, and beep-beep, beep-beep yeah!
